evol. in you world the energy of the photo is always exactly equal to the charge on the electron. This energy is constant so that makes the problem a lot simpler. Another way to look for this is in chemical bond energy levels or if there was some way determine the mass of a chem reaction-not as easy though. How about measuring energy in kilograms rather than joules or BTUs ect?

I thought i'd take a look at what Robert Carroll had to say about the Pound Rebka experiment, which is what Cindy is talking about. I then read through what he had to say about the aether. He starts with
v^2 = 2GM / r
The velocity of an object in free fall from infinity in the gravitational field of the Earth. The total energy needed to create the "space" of the Earth is given by
1 / 2 Mv^2 = GM^2 / r_0
Read r_0 as r subscript zero
That gives us
Mv^2 =2GM^2 /r_0

The total energy of the Earth is finite, the energy density is reduced with elevation in some inverse power of the radius vector. Carroll works this out to be
E_d = GM^ / 4pi r^4
At the Earth's surface then we have an energy density of about 1.12E 11 Pa (That has to mean that "space" is rather peculiar stuff!)

So then I took a look at the velocity of sound in a material.
v = x.sqrt(k / m)
x is the spacing of atoms (about 3E-10 metres)
m is the mass number times the mass of a proton
(for iron let's say 56 times 1.673E-27 = 9.35E-26 kg)
k is E times x Where E is Young's modulus, for iron about 1.5E 11 Pa (Pascal)

Square it to get
v^2 = x^2 E x / m
mv^2 =x^3 E
But mv^2 equals 2Gm / r_0
2Gm /r_0 = x^3 E
Gm / 4pi r^4 = E

Well, hang about! we're talking about light speed phonons here and faster. My first thoughts are that we are dealing with a Higgs particle with a gravitational mass of about 30 times the proton mass but with an e.m. mass of about 1E-60 kg

Still, early days but it looks promising to find out a it more about the aether.

do you think that this is the frequency of light entering a earth like [mass] ... ?
327,100,000 hz
and that if this frequency of light was found entering a planet
that planet would have a mass close to earth's and there fore
a gravity consistant with our own, and a distance like the
distance from our sun !?

Invariance is not a "new physics". It inherited "old views" of human being about nature. For examples,

1. Velocity of gravitation field is instantaneous.
2. Light speed is a speed of a wave, c = [wave length].[frequency]
3. E = [Plancks constant].[frequency]
4. Momentum P = E/c

And although it is based on old views, it could explain clearly light Doppler effect as well as E = mcc.

I love thoughts which say that nature is simple, live, and beautiful...

Hi Cindy, You have a nice neat and simple model posted above, but, don't you run into difficult problems resolving data using your ideas? How do you explain redshift for starters? Then what about all the stuff invented to make the data fit the bigbang model?
