<br />I found the "readme" files (I had to use search folders and files) but "Gravity intro.htm" is not there.<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">That file is located on the CD, not on your hard drive. In your "search folders and files" operation, point it to search the CD (drive letter is usually "D" or "E") instead of searching drive "C".
Better yet, just use Windows Explorer to look at the contents of the CD. For example, right click on the start button, left click on "Explore", skip past everything on drive C and click on drive D (or possibly drive E) to get a list of the files. Then double-click on the "Gravity Intro.htm" file.
<blockquote id="quote"><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">by the way would you happen to now how i could check to see if my CD auto-run is on?<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">The CD would automatically start running the program when inserted, if autorun was on. How to turn that option on varies for each version of the Windows operating system. Check with your local computer guru. -|Tom|-

Now that you know how to see the CD contents, open the file "Gravity Intor.htm" and let it guide you through the rest. -|Tom|-

i tried as you suggest, right click on start, left click on explore(or do you mean explore all?) went to () drive nothing there, then went to (E:) drive , there is the list of the CD contents but "Gravity Intro.htm" is not there. i just checked again just to be absolutely sure, "Gravity Intro.htm" is not there.
the first file is called "21st Century Gravity_files"

Click on drive D, which puts the full list in the right-hand window. Scan down the list past the first 22 names (which are all folders). Then comes the list of file names. They should be in alphabetical order. Eight file names begin with the letter "G". The sixth of those is the one you want. -|Tom|-

the problem is, there is nothing in the D drive on the right or left side. E drive is the only one which has the CD contents, whether i look on the right or left.
however, i will try what you suggest in the E drive. can't do it right now though i'm at work, so i will try it at lunch.

i found "Gravity Intro.htm" i opened it up so it seems things are fine.
just one last question though, this "power point" , i gather it is a viewing system, but do i need to down load this from Microsoft, the help i got from Dell mentioned that i may have to buy office XP from them. or can i down load it from Microsoft.
