Stoat- Truer than true, it's all germaine. It's always all part of Parmenides' oneness- till the cops show up. LOL. Dali's judge (after Dali threw a bathtub through a window) said "every artist had a right to defend his work to the limit." Yes i noticed the square in the image. The Parmenedian reactalights are far superior to the Hegalian, as the dual imagery of the latter cloud one's third eye.

[][][] I doff my hat to you sir. It's said that Diogenes gave Alexander the Great a pair of polaroids and a Flying Tigers jacket, don't know if that's true[8D]

Stoat- Likewise to you:
"In this treacherous world
Nothing is the truth, nor a lie
Everything depends on the color
Of the crystal in which one perceives it." (Dali).
We will continue with "MRO--First Looks." This image was over 300mb and quite tedious to download. Warning, If you wish to attempt it, you will need a photo shop program able to handle it. Since I'm no expert, I suggest you consult the manufacturer before attempting. I had hoped that since this image is located near Libya Montes where the “Crownface” and “Barbara” overface are located, that it might fill the location prediction. I found something, but not what I hoped. Also, for those of you just beginning, don’t try to manipulate these posted images as they are compressed for quick downloading and won't have any additional detail. You have to go to the source if you want to study the detail for yourself.
Here’s Nili Fossae again for reference.
Here’s face number 3 in various close-up crops. Notice the same type of chiseling as used to make the nose in face # 2. But 3 has a clear mouth area and clearly defined chin, which 2 lacks. 3 also has a large eye socket, but no eye. If it ever existed, the eye was lost to erosion and to the eons. There is no doubt that if artificial, these faces are raised relief sculptures and not simply etchings.
And a close-up of the eye socket.
The aproximate size of profile # 2 is 250 meters wide. Number 3 is around 400 meters wide. This is well within the range of many of the faces seen in the MGS MOC images.

Here's possible face no. 1. We see characteristics of pareidolia in that the face-like features diminish on close-up view. But some eye details are still apparent, as is the context of other similar faces in area (not yet shown).
Face # 1 small.
No. 1, larger and close-up.
Face no. 1 is around 80 meters wide and is north oriented. Here are 2 and 3 again with histogram adjustment.
Face 2 HA.
Face 3 HA.
Note the suggestion of secondary features now visible in both 2 and 3, (eye, eyebrow, nostril, artistic shading, etc.); as opposed to actual secondary features in the much superior Cydonia Face (not shown).
