My pareidolia knows no bounds.

This extreme crop makes it hard for many people to focus on the details as they intuit that there is some lack of oneness here- they sort of space out and go temporarily blind. i believe this is why many photographers don't like to crop.

Larry, from that post you directed me to, you can see the problem here. Assuming Malcolm's estimate is in the ballpark, then that Alien figure is roughly 10 feet tall. That's 120 inches or <b> 12 pixels in size (from original data) from top to bottom and maybe a few pixels side to side</b>

If we look we look at a picture of something 10 feet tall here on Earth, it might consist of millions of pixels, or at the very least hundreds of thousands. The less data (real data) we pick up with our eyes, the more opportunity for the brain to fill in the rest according to pareidolia (rev1).

And therein lies the rub.

i used to read looking for something. i read Ouspensky say "Everything is a living speaking god". i looked around my kerosene lit cabin and everything glowed in Rembrandt tones and came alive as individual gods speaking about the line they traveled along- why- and pareidolically/ quantumly whatever i read into them. Looked at this way the "Einstein" photograph (and it's acceptance and lack of total acceptance)has shown me more about reality than anything. i know it is an expression of Nietzshian reversal of values being considered valueless/ unworthy of investigation by the money/ war/ college machine. i look at it being beyond "Guernica" as an anti-war art work being created by god/nature as opposed to man made artiface. People with their own eyes see "Einstein"- show it to people and you will know them better than thru any Rorschach test. Why shrinks don't hang my photographs in their waiting rooms showes me what "Einstein" is screeming in his stoned/ depressed way. One can't argue with the count the features method as devised by Richard DeRosa and me. rd is one of the few of 7 billion people to be interested enough in pareidolia ( www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pareidolia ) to actually take pareidolic photographs.

Larry- i'm just a simple minded person and have no idea what you are talking about. i thought there were "no bounds" here. Please straighten what i did " wrong" out. i use my definition of pareidolia if any. i believe words point as hints and try to lighten up with the "categorical imperatives". Thanks. fred.
