<b>[pareidoliac] "Anyone who ... is an obvious idiot ..."</b>

(I must still be in 'benevolent mode'.)

There are not many rules here.

The Big One is: you can attack the message but not the messenger.

You get a warning this time. And you are expected to apologize.

But I sense you are saying bye. It's your choice at this point, but note that future posts from you are subject to interference until that apology is issued and accepted.

Even though you have not supported your ideas very well so far, that could change. We are an open and tolerant group here, and most of the time we are willing to help others grow. Whether or not you do is of course up to you. And it is actually not required.

As long as you remember the Big One.

rd- "If I dream I pushed you off a cliff, or shot you, or something else quite fatal in my dream world, what happens to you? Do you wake up? Die? Are you dreaming you got pushed off the cliff my(sic) me and died?

What happens to me in the dream world?
In your dream world i die. What happens next is in your dream. Dreams and rationality don't mix in the dream or waking state.

All we know for sure is that we appear to have consciousness and perceive patterns. The rest of the words are a matter of interpretation. Life and Death are ideas. Our spirit is made of light and lives forever like all light.

Anyone who wears a $ as a symbol is an obvious idiot or a clown. Anyone can say anything and rationalize it. Rational is just a good word to train people to follow what is called rational. Next they go to war because it seems rational to their shallow minds including Einstein who gave us the bomb. Grigory Perelman is obviously the only rational person. Lots of luck to us all.

When we look at the picture of Madrid, there's very little reason for squinting, and <b>and that image has slightly LESS resolution than the HiRise.</b>

Think about it.

Well this is only partly correct. The MRO hirise camera has considerably lower signal to noise ratio than the Madrid image especially in the more interesting images which have been combined into super pixels (2 X 2 and 4 X 4 binning) hmmm? So not a good comparison by my calculations. However, I have been working with some new 3D software recently which has produced much greater clarity. I will be posting a few intriguing 3D videos for review shortly.

Btw, to really evaluate the Martian surface with any substance, I've put the 2D images on the back burner...3D IS the only way to go....depth of field IS everything and shows far greater resolution. Now if we can only get HiRise to acquire 1 X 1 binning in the stereo files of the places of REAL interest.

I just looked at 10 images at random on the HiRise website and they were all 1 x 1 binning, ~26cm/p, images approx. ~80cm resolved (approx 32 inches). Yes it's true about the fact that there are images that have been combined into super pixels, but as a general rule they do that for a purpose, and they are usually not concerned about the slight loss of resolution (if we took a picture of a car, would it matter if there were 7 million or 9 million pixels? Probably not).

So, the simple fact of the matter is that there are probably thousands of 1 x 1 binning images from the HiRise, and yet we're still squinting to see what in fact you claim you see. It's actually gotten quite boring.

If you examine it closely, you find some of man's greatest characteristics in the man who makes money (who has money):

To name a few. I could go on, but you get the point. I can certainly see why she did it, and after reading everything she ever wrote, and looking at the world around us now, I'd say Ayn Rand was a genius.

You guys are funny.

Still, I enjoy looking over the shoulder of two reasonably (or at least apparently) competent individuals as they slap each other around.
