While I have doubts about the "big bang" myself, it is a misconception that it means there has to be a "center" to the universe. I think this comes about from trying to visualize it, like a firecracker going off in a dark room. This would be true only if the matter/energy in the universe was expanding into a pre-existing space. The big bang is postulated to create spacetime itself.

Hi Tom
again thanks for taking time to answer my simple qustions.
one more simple one, if gravitons are to be viewd as a mega planeteey atmosphere, and substance (earth) is to be viewed as mostly empty space (with MI being sort of micro planet/star/etc.)why there not any gravitons in substance (situated in the 'vast' empty spaces of a substance as meteors or cosmic dust in space)?

Hi nemesis,
All explosions that we have ever seen in this universe originate from a central location in space. You do bring up an interesting point about the creation of spacetime. First of all space is infinite so that question is mute regarding having been created. You cannot create something from nothing. Which is the basic problem with the big bang theory.
For a big bang to have taken place there would have had to have been extreme pressures caused by a force. Only extreme circulation around mass could cause such an event and that would require pressures from outside of the event itself. How could that be if there was zero space time?
Another problem that we have a hard time understanding is how time actually works in the universe. Our existing perception is so unclear because we see the universe expanding at an accelerated rate yet do not even have a clue as to why? What we may be looking at is a time based universe that exists because of a forward and reverse circulation of time waves. The scale of these circulations may be infinite at both macro and micro levels creating boundary zones of dimensional universes that do in fact have centers spining around centers. Dirac is key in this view of how universe is organized around the funneling of time waves into a +1 to infinity opposed by a -1 to infinity which is why there would have to be central organized circulations at all dimensional levels inorder for mass to actually materialize at each level.
John

If we took a snapshot of Earth, there would be many gravitons in transit, some others in the process of being absorbed, and others in the process of being expelled. Both energy and number counts are preserved in the long run. -|Tom|-

John, it's true certainly what you say about explosions in this universe, such as supernovas, having centers, but in big bang theory the big bang does not happen IN this universe. There is no assumption of a pre-existing space and space is thought to be finite, if unbounded. It is also meaningless to talk about anything "before" the big bang, time itself began with the big bang. Most of us here are used to thinking in terms of the MM which does not have these issues.

I should introduce myself.
My name is Sir Zerp and I’m a regular member of advanced physics forums.
Dr. Smid is also a member of APF and he has referred me to your forum because of the correlation of my gravity conjecture essay and push gravity in general.
I’m a lowly physics undergrad with a gravity conjecture essay running thru his brain on a daily basis.
BTW, Tom I think my stuff may complement some of the basics of push gravity.
So, I’m looking for ideas, comments, suggestions, and even harsh criticisms to my ideas.
Chew them up; let me know what you really think.

BTW, that website is a slow personal website I store things on, it takes about 15-20 seconds for pdf file to download.
