Most of my e-mail has been plastered with geoengineering. That gave me a great thought. If the universe is bounded it either has a crust or doesn't. Between the crust so to speak would be areas where light could escape. Also, if the universe is bounded then light is bouncing from one side of the universe to the other and back to another spot on the map. Chew on that for awile.

tbg said... I made the statement; “if I had to make a decision, re; my original question, I would choose foreverism”. A recall of past events have given me a preponderance of evidence that your version as to the existence of the universe as having always existed is correct.

To which Skarp responded... Keep in mind that the universe will never be understood with this line of reasoning, and your life is meaningless in the infinite sea.

Skarp, A rereading of my message should show that I ascribe to the corollary of foreverism, I am not the originator, (iow, the student not the teacher) a corollary that provides a basis for “understanding” the universe as a whole. As to “meaningless”, I am a thoughtful, reasoning and productive member of society so my life has meaning to me as I would think your life has meaning to you. I appreciate your concern and thank you for your time.

To me the following

If it is logical that the universe is infinite and forever. It is quite logical to take the stance that your life is meaningless. One up against infinity is truly nothing and renders your life meaningless through absolute dispersal. My point being that there is no point at all.

God is infinite therefore my life is not meaningless. Aside from science here faith in God does have it's upsides.

Ryan, Your Life has meaning to You and the people who care about You...My Life has meaning to Me and the people who care about Me. After that, You and I, can only “Hope” Our Life has meaning to others. “Hope” is nothing more than an internal request for Devine intervention...iow, an effect! The God you speak of was a good idea for “causation” 230 years ago...as the basic “causation” for the start of this Country but, that same God as an “effect” has not fared so well. For example...I have not observed any “Devine intervention” since the Right to Life was disemboweled from the Constitution. I think a review history will support my deductive reasoning. And so, unless anyone can demonstrate, with deductive reasoning, otherwise I think we should consider the subject closed. Thank you for your time.
