I thought some viewers would be interested in seeing what E0300824, one of the straight-on images of the Cydonia Face might look in the "mirrored" state. Rich did the grafting and he's not yet expert at this. (I'm even less so); so you will see some diagonal joint lines, and other unseemly markings. And where did those little Dr. Seuss faces come from? Or am I the only one who sees them? No light inversion was used here. I am not saying anything special about this rendition, except that it doesn't look much like the other mirror image of this side of the face.

This is no science experiment, just having a little fun. Lighten up folks. Neil

Hey wait a minute. Do you see that Christmas Ornament hanging from his nose? I'll bet you anything there's a whole sub-culture surrounding that. Especially, in California. Looks like some Neo-Zoom-Dwebie to me.

BTW, those lines were in the original image. They have nothing to do with what I did, except that they are now mirrored. I don't know what they are.

rderosa...

While it isn't exactly a Xmas ornament on the nose there is an ornament that is very important in the Mayan culture. So although you think it a joke you have actually hit upon something that is real and pertinent to ZMs discussion all along. I suggest you visit his Cydonia site and educate yourself. While I understand this is in fun sometimes fun can be demeaning and not to the one being poked at but rather for the poker... for a link see the previous posts.... and neil nice effort but I think you might have the demarcation line off a bit again see ZM for better instructions on the mirroring.

I disagree. I think the one thing that separates this mirroring with all the others I've seen, is that this one actually uses the center of the mesa as the Y-axis.

This is what it "really" looks like mirrored.

Well again you have hit upon the crux of the problem with the speculation going on throughout this thread. While I'm not a mathemetician I have always looked at the math imposed on the cydonia site with skepticism simply because there are perceived point that "should" exist but are for the most part eroded away so it becomes a best guess point to work from.

There is no real proof of a "crater" on the face so it becomes a best guess from which to work from.

There is no real proof that the face is composed of metal so it becomes a best guess from which to work from.

There is no real proof that the face is a hollow structure so it beomes a best guess from which to work from.

There is no real proof that the face is mirror-symetrical so it becomes a best guess from which to work from.

There is no real proof the the face is bi-furcated so it becomes a best guess from which to work from.

There is no real proof that you, I, TVM, ZM, MSSS, NASA has the correct skills to process images so it becomes a best guess from which to work from.

There is just too much me-ism in this whole thing, my Nefrititi is better than your bi-furcated face... in the end analysis that position is just plain BS especially when so many so-called rules are twisted and distorted to arrive at the conclusion acceptable to the writer.

The simple fact remains that no matter how much so-called "scientific method" you claim to apply that the conclusions of the paper discussed above are based on speculation and not proof of any kind. That no matter how much you rail and ridicule the bifurcation of the face that little else remains as a possibility if you don't introduce the speculation of a meteor hit and melting of an "imagined" metal coevering.

A SERIOUS SCIENTIFIC MIND would do everything possible to explore the possibilities of the opposite position simply to bolster their own theories. What has occurred to this point is little more than accusations and half hearted efforts to make other ideas look silly.

So TVM et al I challenge you all to read the book Cydonia Codex (as I have read your material) work through the examples and test the theory, test the theory, test the theory... before dismissing the idea out of hand with I won't even read the thing if it contains anything that is mirrored.

We are in a real fight today with science as a whole and real discoveries are being cast by the wayside with a simple 'it doesn't fit the accepted paradigms' just ask Michael Cremo author of Forbidden archaeology. Closed minds are dangerous, we are not supposed to be of that type but sadly I find that the anomaly community has minds that are closed tighter than mmost of that which we rail against as keping us back... we are keeping ourselves back.

I want to apologize here in advance as I am leaving on an extended trip and while on the road expect to have intermittant internet access so I won't be able to respond here until the end of May. but I leave you with my favorite adage from Brian Tracy "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still" I don't expect to change your opinions but I do know that if somebody has new information they can change their minds, please seek some new information you really don't know it all!
