I agree that cosmology is the final frontier. Until someone presents a cosmological model that explains everything to the satisfaction of all sane thinkers, all cosmological models will properly belong under the heading of religion. It is sad that our government-supported institutions unconstitutionally respect the establishment of BB theory as the official state religion.

Because TVF's theories contradict the official state religion, and because some of them are pretty far out, this board is a magnet for other far-out theories.

In case you haven't noticed, we are sometimes bombarded with creationist nonsense. While I am no creationist, I do believe, by tolerating official suppression of such unsupportable and illogical beliefs, we pave the way for suppression of our own beliefs. "No one is free until everyone is free." That does not mean we have to tolerate such nonsense on this unofficial board. Creationists have enough unofficial forums of their own.

Another off-the-wall school of thought seems to be gaining a foothole, here. I'm referring to the conspiracy theorists. If there is a suspicion of a conspiracy, and no irrefutable proof to the contrary, to them it is a fact. As long as those topics stay tangent to more relevant discussions, here, I am inclined to ignore them. How far that is permitted to go on this board is up to the board's moguls.

for the discussion of how the universe works in nature! If no one responds to any creationist or conspiracy posts, they will go away.
I definitely will be posing, what I consider to be, very interesting and tough questions. Hopefully, many will want to chime in, and this could be very enlightning!!! First of all, no one on the planet has any idea how devastatingly misleading the BB "concept", the "perception" that the Friedmann naked singularity, created the whole universe at once, really has been!!! As stated in my first post, wheather the universe is "Static" or expanding, the key in my opinion is "how does the matter get here". So, here is my first question to the group. Isn't the timeline for the Friedmann naked BB singularity, in it's intitial few seconds preposterous? To put enough matter into our universe to make billions of galaxies, wouldn't the singularity have to keep exploding for a long time?

I guess that wasn't the best question to ask first!!!

Here is a general question; Do we know the answer to this?... If we were in a galaxy 13 billion light years away and looked back at our galaxy, how much farther past our galaxy could we see with our best telescopes?

There must be some limit to how far any telescope can look because the IGM has some mass that absorbs photons at some rate. The view (it seems to me) must get foggy at some distance and slowly fade away all together. It would be a great way to measure several details if the view was considered rather than the model of an expanding universe. By tweeking the view to suit the model a lot of detail is lost.
