<b>[Malcolm]"The size of the image was way too large....I've resized it and should work now....but still need some help

This image link has two problems.
1)the HTML prefix tag is mssing the opening square bracket. (The postfix tag is properly formatted.)
2)the address between the two tags is for (what looks like) a web page rather than an image. An image address should end with a file name that has an image file extension (.jpeg or .bmp or .mpeg or something like that).
When you correct the first problem and look at the results, instead of seeing the image you will see a small red "X". This is how the editor says "I did not find a valid image file at the address you gave me". (That small red X is the default image.)

This is the same address that you tried to use in the image link above. If you double click it you are sent to a web page that has a image on it. That's why it doesn't work as an image link - it is the address of a web page with an image, not the address of an image.
Computers seem smarter than they really are. Some day, probably not too far from now, they will be able to do what we <u>want</u> them to do, but right now they merely do what we <u>tell</u> them to do. You have to dot every 'i' and cross every 't', but even then the results can be other-than-wanted.

Actually, on closer inspection I see that the second address is not exactly the same as the first. Sorry about that. But it is the same kind of address.

Thanks Larry, I see that now. The image that I posted a couple of weeks back was sent through to Photobucket where in that case, yes, the address did have a .jpeg at the end. So, I'll send this new image to Photobucket and see what happens....thanks again.

Just went to the opening post in this thread. And there is an image there now. Good work.
