Yea, i'm not sure i fully buy the whole thing with dark matter and stuff because its only one of a zillion possibilities we have explored in depth. I mean, what are the odds that we happened to stumble upon the correct path the very first time? The problem is that scientists make initial theories, then find it doesn't work and tweak it, which in and of it self is fine, but they tweak it so much that it becomes very convoluted and isn't even a shadow of its former self. When stuff gets to that point, its time to step back and try a different theory

<br />Origin,
Welcome. My view opposes MM's (Tom's) view. He believes we have always existed and therefore was never created. That just doesn't add up for me.
My view of Creation ex nihilo doesn't tell us how but I feel it does show that it is valid physically where "N" is "Nothingness", described as the absence of time and space and where +/-"s" represents two opposite "Somethings".
What those are is unclear at this time. For example +s might be "Space" and -s might be "Time" within our own universe. Or it may mean that there is a -universe energy resovoir that balances the bifurcation of "0" into (+1)+(-1).
It really does seem rather simple mathematically.

Applause ! !
If every entity in the Universe is comprised of countervalent qualities such that their sum=Ø then 'virtual' nothing exists in the logical or relative realm.
And if any finite quantity compared to infinity has a relative value of Ø then compared to the infinite Universe, that volume containing the countervalent qualities has NO size and 'actual' nothing exists in the abstract or infinite realm.

Messiah,
Excellent site. Thanks. I scanned most of it and can say I accepted all I read.

i to found the site fascinating,i do however disagree with equating zero with nothing.

I agree and have recently changed my origin ex nihilo to N-->(+s)+(-s) for that reason and "n" was changed to "s" since "n" is a conotation for a mathematical series. "N" is now "Nothingness" and "s" is "Something".

what is mathematical does not necessarily equate with the universe,i understand having an open mind but there are times in which flexibility of mind can be stretched in the wrong direction, can it not?not everything is possible.like i say,"nothing" when looked into deeper always becomes something.its just a matter of detection.is not "chiral condensate" a good example?
