JR, "Thus it appears that particles have a limited scope of influence with respect to other scales both much larger and much smaller than the one in which they inhabit. This limited scope means that coincidence need not extend to all the infinite components existing at the proximity of the point of contact."

I would disagree with the statement that "particles have a limited scope of influence" because all micro components of atomic scales would derive their energies from a macro scale flux field, and this power exchange is a two way dynamic surrounding a zero point. I understand why you would state that components are isolated systems, because then you can show that you can have a finite point with out being influenced by an infinity. That part of your statement is true because the Atomic Universe within the Atom is not infinite, however it only exists because of this greater flow of energetics that we can see through experimentation such as the three trillion times per second switching between matter and antimatter within Bsub Mesons (parity {parity with Reverse Time motion} showing the dual motion of Universe in Forward Time). As we go to smaller scales these scales are dynamically tuned to even higher scales that interact at extremely higher exchange speeds then that of the graviton.

Mass Fluctuations are the result of point of contact between a two way higher scale field interaction. Your dimensional walk down the internal scales of an Atom in the infinite series hits the zero point wall, a point that is the ultimate zero point at the center of our particular group of scales. Without these scale interactions there would not exist any physical measurable dimensions to construct a Universe, or buildings or anything!

There may be an infinite number of scale geometries in the infinity of space, but local mass in motion with in any given scale is maintained by a dipolar two way flow of positive and negative charged fields in extreme motion around a zero point.

Hi John, if you take that third equation that I mention, a couple of posts up, and stick Bottzman's constant in front, then you get a graph of a hyperbola. It's flipped about the x axis, then pushed along into the negative x y quadrant. It doesn't cross the y axis at zero but very close to it. What I've been fretting over is, the area under the graph, positive x, negative y, a very long very thin strip. Is this 20 billion c plus energy, zpe or is zpe only part of it?

When I've written that equation I've tended to put it in the form in which v^2 / c ^2 is expressed as a refractive index. I did this so I could just plug in a negative refractive index and keep our bit of the universe having real rootsand the ftl bit complex. I wanted to avoid tachyons. Now though, thinking of this ftl substance as a aleph two set, it has a property of time reversal. The best way to think about tachyons is to simply reverse our time flow. Having said that, I think that negative refractive index is the way to go for study but keep in mind that an aleph two substance could do the Banach Tarski trick and more besides. Temporally swtichable, fractal surfaces that would look like chaos but wouldn't be at all.

Oh yeah, just to do everyone's head in further, the Cantor set is worth a look. It shows a zero uncountable infinite set. Makes one wonder why the guy had a nervous breakdown.

(Edited) How to cut up a planet[:D] [8D] Real Darth Vader stuff [:o)] We cut it up like an orange. A zero to one radius, make a cut, then rotate our knife one radian. The radian here is our integer unit, and the irationality of pi stops us from ever hitting the same point as we rotate around. Make aleph null cuts as we rotate our knife a radian at a time. Shake out the segments and that's it [:D][:)]

Hi Stoat, "What I've been fretting over is, the area under the graph, positive x, negative y, a very long very thin strip. Is this 20 billion c plus energy, zpe or is zpe only part of it?" I think you are on to something here and it would be interesting to see such a graph. I think that all MASS wave forms are being regenerated at extreme speeds Universally. That said, your "long very thin strip" provides a mathematical model of the ZPE effect that is layered on a group scale wide basis. Everything is in extreme motion around a ZERO POINT. It might actually look like a figure eight infinity sign with the contact point almost a quadropolar fluctuation reversing back and forth from the two way exchange.

So, YES the "20 billion c plus energy" on the graph would only be part of the spectrum of ZPE energetics. These finer and finer particle/wave form exchange recreates Mass moment in time at each scale. If you could "freeze" a one trillionth of a second and see both forward and reverse time exchange taking place in our forward time half of our mega scale you would see the constant reconstruction of mass.

Can you post your graph?

John

Hi John, I think I'll put a sketch of the graph up when this thread has ran its course. I don't want to go too far off topic in someone else's thread. It's just a rather odd graph of Wein's law for entropy after all. Where it is of interest to the topic of infinity, is that as something cools down toward absolute zero, zpe or the energy of the ftl substance stops it from imploding at absolute zero. In short energy transfer is a two way street. At the other end of the scale, an electron accelerated to the speed of light, doesn't increase its mass to infinity but lets us pour all of the energy of matter space into the ftl substance. As, at least, an aleph one substance, it can suck up matter energy (aleph null) like a sponge.

Let's say that the ether substance (aleph one) surrounds matter, rather like an atmosphere. It also permeates the whole of that matter object, even if the matter monads are incredibly close together as in a black hole or neutron star. Is energy transfer, between the matter substance and the graviton substance, always mediated through the ether substance?

On the cutting up of planets again. We could also do the Cantor set cut up with shells. We chop out the middle third of our planet's radius and so on. Note how the transcendental functions ensure that we never land on the same integer point . I wonder if that's an important point about the "job" of the aleph two set in keeping our universe ticking over?

You walk into your pub again and the lord of aleph one is in. "Do that trick with the ball again!" He opens his hand to show a torus. "this is an electron, scaled it up so you can see it," he says. "I'll split it in to four sets, then recombine pairs of them to create two doughnuts. Cantor said five sets but I know that the centre point is in one of my four sets."

He does this, you're hugely impressed. "Now," he grins, "this is not the ball trick. The electron is an aleph null set. The ball was an aleph one set. The doughnuts look identical but they have half the density." You nod your understanding of this and gulp down a triple whisky as an aid to comprehension.

"Right," he smiles, even more demonically, "while you drank that, I did the trick aleph null times. I switched off the visibility of the extra doughnuts, to stop you from feeling slightly claustophobic."

With that he waves his hand to show you a huge pile of electrons on the table. You gulp into your second triple whisky, "does this mean that there are really aleph null electrons all over the place? All with zero density?"

Nodding sagely he points at the next table. "What I've done now, is to move all of them, one by one, over to that table. Then I've put them all back together again." He leans back and sips his beer, a man of deep contentment.

"How long did it take then?" you manage to splutter. The lord of aleph one, tilts his head slightly and knits his brow in mock serious thought. "You know, I've never really thought of it in those terms, 'go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect 200 pounds, yen or dollars.' It's just a simple quantum jump, don't worry yourself about it."

(Edited) I just dumped the graph, as it detracts from what the thread is about.
