My pareidolia knows no bounds.

Zip is quite right. Interestingly, in the course of my inquires with "prominent people" in the field, the "programed response" (as I call it) is "oh it must be Paredolia". Of course this is a common stereo which I believe has been intentionally "embedded" into the psyche of the mainstream.

One very important factor to keep in consideration when analyzing Mars imagery, as one comes to accept the reality of "life" on the planet, it will become obvious that the faces, figurines and artwork of the inhabitants has a specific style or "signature" to the designs (for want of a better word). These creations (again, for want of a better word) show very specific styles especially in the facial designs. Quite typical is to see faces of anywhere from humanoid to reptilian features with their mouths wide open. There are many other similar features as well. This factors derail the possibility of Pareidolia as in this case, images which can be found in many shapes and forms have distinctive differences.

Malcolm,

There is something about the images in your 21 Nov 2013 09:39:51 post that is not compatible with our forum software. These images are causing the forum window to be wider than normal and this makes some members have to scroll from side to side in order to read the text. Not just on your post, but on all posts on this page.

I think the problem is that they are too big. (File size.) But I'm not sure.

Note that these images no longer appear in your post. I "broke" the link to them by changing the opening [IMG] tag. Now the text of the link appears instead of the image that the link points to.

See if you can find these same images in a different format. Change the link to point to that new image and then fix the IMG tag to have it displayed.

Alternately you could use a photo editor to crop them down a bit, or to save them in a different format if you can't find them in a different format.

Let me know if you need help.

Regards,
LB

I think I'm with Rich on the impact of 'irrefutable evidence'.

Yawn.

***

Lets push this idea (actual irrefutable evidence of alien life) way out of shape.

***

Suppose God (Christian, Muslim, Zoroastrian, what ever - or even all of them at once) started having breakfast with each of us each morning (so in a restaurant we would all see another copy of God/the Gods at all of the other tables, chatting with the people there just like he/they was/were chatting with us). Every morning, from now on.

What would happen?

Well, a FEW people would freak out (mostly the religious nuts).

But the rest of us would blink in surprise a few times, then more or less go "Cool! Glad you finally decided to come out of the closet. Say, we really need some help over here ... Don't suppose you still have those cool little cans of Whup-Ass like you used to use on the Bad Guys way back when?"

Malcolm, the next time you post an image, try putting a carriage return just before the final [/URL].

I found that that keeps the whole message more in line. See if it works for you.

As far as the notion of 'irrefutable evidence' goes, after how many years has it been, I still haven't seen any 'irrefutable evidence'.

Larry, I have reduced the image size and reposted the images. Please advise if this has solved the problem

Thanks
