It is quite difficult for me to believe that these dust devils even exist.. More likely it is part of the Nasa propaganda machine, steering the public to see Mars as Nasa intends..

We've know about planet-wide Martian dust storms for ages. Why should dust devils be hard to swallow?

Yeah that is quite a big problem for me..
I have only been studying Mars a very short time..
I am not weighed down by the information that many "think" they acquired for these past "ages" by receiving their entire data set as well as a stiff shot of mindset"IE Erosion,LavaFlows -- directly from the Largest Public Relation Firm in the World known as Nasa.. I as a Human being would be quite discouraged in our space faring abilities if, I were to believe earth has launched 38 spacecraft to mars and could not tell us /you or me if life "exists on that planet.. Granted many missions were considered unsuccessful yet many were successful.. When I look at the highest resolution images ever taken by a human vehicle on another planet.. That would be the spirit and opie missions . I can only wonder who created these optics Mr mc goo?..
If this picture represents something on Mars.. And those snow drifts on the top..
You would under stand My frustration ?

Xterrester,
speaking of "electrical phenomena" take a look at these streaks or so-called Dust Devils.
www.msss.com/moc_gallery/e13_e18/full_jpg_map/E14/E1400400.jpg
Take a look at this strip in "negative reversal" and note the "streaks" transform into bolts of "bending" electrical discharge - exploding out of the (open?) sides of some of these "mounds" and bouncing off the surrounding sand dunes.
Was this strip shot at night?
Your thoughts,

Although NASA is a fairly large organization and has more than a few bad problems (that are not limited to its exploration of Mars), it is a pip squeek compared to several of the major religions. And many many more people receive their data and their mindset from these organizations than from NASA.

But it looks like you already know that.

As a tax payer Funding Nasa.. I can't be concerned with what those organizations do or don't do.. But Nasa doesn't fall into that catagory.. And needs to be held accountable for what they do with my tax dollars..
