A careful examination of this image reveals areas of very organized shapes that seem to be laid out in an intelligent fashion. I surrounded the areas that I found particularly interesting with red dots. I have found that using a magnifing glass can be a great help in viewing the detailed areas of these images.

Note the face-like object approx. two inches down and one and a half inches from the left in the upper left hand corner.

The light-colored lower right edge of this "crater" is yet another area that appears to have been artificially covered or tented.

ANCIENT RUINS OR CURRENTLY OCCUPIED?

This stretch of Martian landscape looks highly artificial with several areas having organized groupings of structures. The central area gives the impression of being under construction.

This is another image that is best viewed with a magnifying glass.

ART ON MARS?

There is a line of figures running down the approximate middle of this image that have the appearance of created art. Viewed sideways, the large figure approximately five inches up from the bottom of the image suggests a ruler or a king. This figure appears to be seated. Around the lower edge of this seated figure are symbols that look alphabetical. It's hard to see these clearly but there is a line of them that look somewhat like the word JUNEL, JUNUL or JUNRIL

Perhaps the name of a god or king?

AN AMAZING STRETCH OF MARTIAN LANDSCAPE:
Image Clip, equalized and enlarged: # M0402003

1. In the immediate surrounding area possible art carvings and structures.

2. Just to the left of the two is a possible structure with roof area being held up by vertical supports. Approx. one inch directly under the two is another possible structure that has the appearance of windows, to the left of that a hive-like maze of layers and openings.

3. & 4. This whole slope looks terraced with structures and art carvings. To the left and down from the 4 is another section of layered, terraced type structures. I wonder if there was an outer shell that originally covered this area and has since fallen away revealing the interior architecture of some huge arcology.

5. More layers, and directly under the 5 is a grayish area that descends on down to the 7. This greyish area looks added on and might possibly be editing. This effect can also be noticed directly under the 3. As well as the greyish area there are several areas in this image that look unnaturally black, as if they have been added on to hide something.

6. Directly to the right of the 6 is another terraced looking area.

7. To the right of the 7 is a grouping of possible carved faces.

8. & 9. Starting at the 8 and following the curved area to the 9 is a section that has many artificial looking elements.

10. To the left of the 10 is another area that has possible editing in grey with another area looking unaturally black. To the right of the ten, more layers with openings.

Thresholding revealed a complex grouping of rectilinear structural shapes in this image.

Somewhat similar to a blueprint the threshold function reduces shapes to high-contrast outlines.

Lower Image: Blueprint for comparison.
