If you had been paying attention to my writing, you would have seen I have a tendency to rotate pronouns in a pseudo-random pseudo-pattern. Unless I'm talking about a specific person.

I do use 'it' occasionally, usually when I'm covering all bases with multiple-hyphenated-or/slashed-pronouns, but it's not my favorite.

Wasn't meaning to seemingly put you on the spot. I too saw the masculine in this artifact. Further, I also see some remarkable similarities to the Babylonian God - Shamash in respect to the fluted ribs (head gear) as well as the apparent image of the typical braded beard (just visable).

No problem. All my life people have thought me odd, mostly because I do a lot of odd things. Like rotating pronouns.

Another odd thing I do - when someone calls me weird (not at all uncommon) I like to fake embarrassment and say 'thanks'. (I honestly do consider it a compliment, but it usually does not embarrass me.)

The various responses I get are often amusing.

It does in fact seem masculine - if we apply our human-chauvinistic filters. (If we don't, it doesn't.) For that very reason I was tempted to do an extra rotation, to the feminine pronoun. (Well, there is also the bikini-like 'bottom' in his outfit.)

1. What is this terrain? (Along the cliffside in Hebes Chasma - MARS)
2. How do the JPL people describe it? (They arn't and are probably unaware of it)
3. Does it make sense? (In which respect?)
4. Is there any reason to believe they are wrong? (Who?)
5. <b>Could </b> it be natural as described by JPL? (I discovered this and proposed the question above)
6. Do we have any reason to doubt it's natural? (yes, it does appear to have some intelligent design)
