TVF presented "21st century gravity" to the American Astronomical Society's Seattle meeting during the week of January 5-10. His laptop presentation on the faster-than-light nature of gravitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 9 at 6:30 pm. Attendance requires registration.

TVF gave his "Short tour of the universe" presentation to the Sequim Bay Yacht Club on April 11 at 7:30pm at the John Wayne Marina on West Sequim Bay Road. Guests welcome. TVF was interviewed on August 10 by a CBC correspondent in Toronto about the Perseid meteor shower and coming lunar eclipse.
TVF was interviewed by the Peninsula Daily News for a feature story on August 12 about the Perseid meteor shower. TVF presented "The exploded planet hypothesis" to the Battle Point Astronomical Association at the Observatory in Battle Point Park on Bainbridge Island on 2007 October 10 at 7:00 p.m. PT. Dinner with the speaker was held at the San Carlos Mexican restaurant before the talk.
TVF presented one contributed and one invited paper to the American Geophysical Union's Fall meeting in San Francisco from December 10-14. These dealt with the (EPH) origin of the black hemisphereon Iapetus, and the fission hypothesis for planetary formation as a replacement for the primeval solar nebula hypothesis.
2006
TVF gave an invited talk about the origin and nature of gravity and its propagation speed to the Retired Scientists of the Olympic Peninsula on January 5 at the Sequim library. TVF delivered invited presentations on the Mars anomalies, FTL travel, and exploded planets to MUFON - Orange County on January 18; to MUFON - Los Angeles on January 19; and to an informal group of UFO enthusiasts in San Diego on January 20.
TVF was a guest on the Tony Gill Show in Springfield, MA from 4:20-4:50 pm ET on Monday, 2006 January 30. Topics included the extra-solar planets and the fission hypothesis for planetary origin. From May 14-18, TVF attended the inaugural meeting of the International Academy for Cosmological Studies at a seaside hotel near Cork, Ireland. His presentations included "A User's Guide to the Universe" and "The End of the Universal Speed Limit". On Friday, 2006 May 26 from 7-8 p.m. PST, TVF presented "A Short Tour of the Universe" at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center in Port Angeles, WA as part of the Juan de Fuca Festival. From June 8-10, TVF attended the Society for Scientific Exploration 25th anniversary meeting in Orem, UT, and presented "What the Repeal of the Universal Speed limit Tells Us about the Physical Nature of the Gravitational Field and of Inertia".

TVF attended the "Cosmic Dust and Panspermia" conference at Cardiff University in Cardiff, Wales (UK) from 2006 Sept. 5-8, honoring the retirement of Prof. Wickramasinghe. He presented "The Exploded Planet Hypothesis -- 2006".

From 2002 Nov. 29-Dec. 6, Eclipse Edge Expeditions conducted an expedition to Adelaide in South Australia and the Australian Outback for viewing the total solar eclipse of Dec. 4 near sunset. Special eclipse phenomena were in evidence because totality was short and near sunset.
2001

From 2001 November 14-20, TVF and Eclipse Edge Expedition personnel led an expedition to Guam Island in the Western Pacific for the great Leonid meteor storm of 2001. A peak rate of 3,000-5,000 meteors per hour occurred, but clouds from a tropical disturbance in the Western Pacific interfered with viewing in many places. See our expedition announcement.
